SSC CHSL exam pattern 2022 will be announced in the official notification scheduled to be released on the month of November 5, 2022. SSC CHSL exam pattern is out separately in the official notification. The candidates must read, understand and internalize the exam pattern. SSC CHSL exam pattern helps the applicants in time management at the time of preparation and the exam.
SSC CHL Tier 1 exam is an important tier of the SSC CGl CHSL exam and hereafter the candidates must practice so that they can score better marks in this tier. The marks scored in the Tier 1 exam are regularized by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the result is set based on the regularized marks. The applicants need to score equal to or more than the cutoff marks to get selected for the next tier.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (HSL) are directed in three tiers. SSC CHSL Tier-I is a Computer-Based Test that contains multiple-choice questions. SSC CHSL tier-II is a pen-and-paper-based exam covering descriptive questions. SSC CHSL tier-III is a typing skill test conducted to test the proficiency on a computer as per the post applied by an applicant. SSC CHSL syllabus and exam pattern accompaniment each other. Both are important for preparation.
SSC CGL Syllabus exam form has not been changed so that the candidates can see the previous year's exam pattern to know the process of the exam. Understanding the pattern of the exam is essential for preparation because the time limit of the tier-I exam is one hour. There are 90 questions in the paper and the applicants need to read, understand, solve and mark the answer properly on the system. If the candidates score well in the tier-I exam, he/she has the chance of final selection immensely.

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
SSC CHSL Tier-I question paper is classified into four parts covering a total of 100 objective-type and multiple-choice questions. Applicants have to finish the exam in 60 minutes. For more clarification, candidates can see the table below:

SSC CHSL Tier 1 Marking
Two marks are given for each correct answer in the exam. A negative marking of 0.50 marks will be given for every wrong answer.

SSC CHSL tier-II question paper is a descriptive part, where the candidates will write an essay and a letter or application in pen-and-paper mode. The total time given to complete the tier-II exam is 60 minutes. For more clarification, candidates can refer to the table given below:

In this test, the applicants are tested on the data entry speed. Applicants must have a speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
Each applicant is given a published matter of about 3,700-4,000 key depressions they have to enter into the computer within the time duration of 15 minutes.
